Covid-19 Information (updated August 2020)
We will provide a full refund if we cannot accommodate you due to Covid-19. This could be if Whitby or your local area goes into lockdown. Also, if you contract Covid-19 and cannot travel due to isolating.
We have procedures in place to ensure high levels of hygiene and cleanliness are met. All of the cleaning and laundry is carried out by us rather than contracted out, therefore we can ensure that high standards are maintained and risk of cross contamination is reduced. We wear PPE when servicing the accommodation and follow the current guidance for the holiday accommodation industry. As well as thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces we are using virucidal sprays on all soft furnishings such as sofas and mattresses.
We are rotating some items, so they are put into storage between bookings and we have removed items such as books, dvd's and leaflets.
To reduce the risk of contamination we will be leaving the property vacant for 24-hours before new guests arrive.
In-line with current industry guidelines we will not be able to show guests around the accommodation on arrival and will leave a door key in a key safe to enable guests to access the property.
Plenty of information will be available inside the property and will be at the end of the phone should you need us during your stay. We live locally and should you have any problems that require us to visit the property we will ensure that this is done safely.
